Bilton Ajax had to travel far for this away league game. Banbury Irish took the lead after a failed last ditch attempted to clear the ball of the line by Ajax’s principal defender Bradley Morgan. Bilton Ajax responded with some quality football with James Moffitt supplying excellent passes in midfield. Also in midfield was Troy who prevented Banbury from breaking through into Ajax’s half. All this effort was rewarded with Ciaran Dempsey scoring for Ajax just before half time.

During the second half Ajax’s defender Oliver Woodcock made some fierce, decisive tackles. Then Jamie White scored another individual goal to take Ajax into the lead. Banbury fought back and their striker found Ajax’s net shortly before full time leaving the score at two all.
Luke Jones playing in defence, showed he can turn his skill to any position, earned Man of the Match.
