Bilton Ajax 3 - 5 Alcester

The team played well today but didn’t quite manage to land the ‘killer blow’s they needed against a well organised and attacking Alcester.
Danny Downes stood in as substitute goalie and did well under a lot of first half pressure. Daniel ‘Peter Crouch’ Harbord used his height and strength again at the back along with Brandon Smith, Stuart Clarke and Josh Ireson.
The half time team talk reminded the lads that the game was ‘their’s for the taking’ and an early goal from Matthew Gibbard signalled a fight back in the second half. Brandon Smith scored a confident second and a superb run and finish brought a third from Matthew (MOTM).
Bilton are cutting their teeth against some very good first division teams – keep going lads!
